Samie is on year round school. It means basically just that.....she goes to school year round. So her last day of school in the 2nd grade was July 1st. Her first day of school for 3rd grade was July 28th. Yes, 3 weeks of summer vacation. Here are some of the things I tried to squeeze in on her last week off (I was in Hawaii with Stu for the first two weeks).
Playing in Scipio with cousins (Neilson Family Reunion) and playing the "games" the town puts on to celebrate the 24th of July.
Going to Scipio also means going to the rodeo with the family.
We did few things closer to home too.
Took Trax downtown and hung out at the Gateway.
Hiked up to Donut Falls.
Samie had a fun summer in the short time we were given. Next year maybe we will get to do things for the full 3 weeks!
